Iowans For A Skilled Workforce is a bipartisan political action committee. ISW was created by supporters of Iowa’s community colleges — the workforce trainers of Iowa.

The Iowa Association of Community College Presidents (IACCP) provides a forum for the chief executives of Iowa’s Community Colleges to connect with each other for collaborative projects, information-sharing and decision-making. IACCP meets throughout the year.
Leadership groups convene regularly for networking and information-sharing. These groups also provide information, recommendations, and data related to legislative and collaborative proposals.

Other groups are convened by the Iowa Department of Education for advising and collaboration and short-term task forces can also be formed for specific purposes.
