Leadership groups convene regularly for networking and information-sharing. These groups also provide information, recommendations, and data related to legislative and collaborative proposals.
Affinity Groups provide networks of support for participants to share information and best practices. At times, they may want to bring ideas or concerns to our attention for discussion.
Our strategic focus is built on proactive leadership and evidence-based advocacy. We don’t just react to change; we help shape it. By aligning our vision, we ensure that Iowa’s community colleges remain the first choice for education, workforce training, and community development.
Other groups are convened by the Iowa Department of Education for advising and collaboration and short-term task forces can also be formed for specific purposes.
